Slasherium - Literary Discussion of Slash
What is appealing about the Slash genre to you?

I remember that what originally drew me to slash was the idea that I was exploring a character "outside the box" (to use a cliche). So, I suppose the characters are what is appealing to me about slash to some extent.
I also love subtext, thinking about what might have happened "between scenes", what else might be happening, other "readings" of a scene or interaction... You've got the point, I hope. :)

that it is not what everyone reads, you don't find it everywhere
and I've never read a Mary Sue like slash book/Storie/whatever
then you have two goodlooking guys together (most of the time) and in some books the slash factor is just mentioned and you have to/can think about what happened

There's still something missing why I love it so much but I don't what. It's just interesting,sexy...
